Information we collect
You may browse PairedBest without creating an account. If you register, we collect the account information you provide, such as your name and email address. When you rate a pairing, we also collect your rating and any optional comments you submit.
How we use information
We use this information to operate your account, remember email preferences, display overall pairing ratings, respond to pairing feedback, send requested updates about upcoming pairing events, protect the service, and improve PairedBest. Your written rating comments are private to you and the PairedBest team unless we ask for your permission to share them.
Service providers
PairedBest uses service providers to run the site, including Hostinger for hosting, Clerk for account authentication, Supabase for application data, and Resend for email delivery. These providers process information on our behalf under their own privacy and security terms. Links and embedded videos may also connect you with YouTube or other third-party services.
Cookies and technical information
The site and its service providers may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for sign-in, security, preferences, and basic operation. Servers may also receive standard technical information such as browser type, device information, and IP address.
Your choices
You can change your pairing-event email preference from your account's Email Preferences page. You may also ask us to access, correct, or delete account information by emailing pairings@pairedbest.com. We retain information only as reasonably needed to operate the service, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes.
Sale of information and children
We do not sell your personal information. PairedBest is intended for adults of legal drinking age and is not directed to children.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as PairedBest develops. We will revise the effective date when material changes are made. Questions or privacy requests may be sent to pairings@pairedbest.com.
